My new year is going awesome! Except for going back to work on Monday. But apart from that, It's awesome Threw a birthday party for my friend today. Had a really good time! Been cooking and eating all day. I'm so stuffed!

:L He's called Curtis and is two years older than me, in Dublin for a year as part of his uni course. Something to do with computers, I always forget what exactly! :L We actually met through Alfie, which is slightly wierd, but still. I'm just seeing how it goes.

Yes, Curtis is a good guy, he's on fire for God which is awesome. Offically we've been going out since the 1st. Haha, what a great date to start going out!

I go back in to Uni in a week, and no... there has been very little work... I'm so bad at revising! :L I've got 5 exams which sucks

5 exams! That's harsh! Is it finals or mid-terms or something? Back at my Uni, they sometimes take the higher of our final exam mark or cummulative mark of different assessments / assignments throughout the year. Do you have something like that?

Nah, haven't heard back from Weta. Did I tell you that they lost our applications? I didn't get around to re-applying. Part of me is a bit scared at venturing out into the world and finding other jobs. I've been working at the hospital since I graduated 5 years ago! But I'm going to start looking for other jobs soon so it's the new year and companies are recruiting again. Will tell you if I find anything good

I know! Exams suck! :L 25% of my module mark is practical, so that's not too bad. Unfortunatly I have one geography exam which is 100% exam... erk!
I'll have five exams in May too, and then they'll add them all together to get my total mark! The good thing about this year is that my exam marks don't count towards my final finishing grade. So I just need to pass this year.

Yeah, it was an online submission and they said their system crashed. Bad timing but oh well.... I'll try again. I just need to update my CV!

Phew, first exam over! It went okay, I don't think I failed so that's got to be a plus.

Prac assessment is either a test on the practical work that we've been doing or a report on an experiment. Sometimes it's a bit of both! :L Basically, it's like coursework except it's actually based on stuff we really did.
