Shiny Intuos 4...

I did it! I got myself one! An early birthday present from me to myself (^_^) It's so shiny and sleek and just super duper cool! Even the box is cool! I get some free software with it. I really like Corel Sketchpad for my doodles. And I'm learning how to use Corel Painter and Photoshop. It's my very first tablet and I splashed out on it, but it's worth it :) I'm not going to give up traditional media, but going digital gives me more confidence with the use of colour and gives me room to experiment. Hopefully this will show in my traditional work.

I'm a complete noob with digital art, so please bear with me while I experiment!

On other things, been super busy with work so haven't done much art at all. Trying to get back into it.

WIP status:
- VK Bookmarks (to do Kaname & Yuuki lineart and colour)
- Pencil portraits (Shia Lebouf, Prince Caspian, Alba, James May)
- Lineart and colour for various original sketches
- D.Gray-man, Bleach and more VK fanart ideas to sketch :)

lol no probs :) Your copics work is looking really great! I haven't been able to use my tablet much cuz been too busy with work :( I started doing a portrait and it's not looking too bad :)

Jay Chou! He's cool! I've been trying to find the mp3 for one of his songs but don't know what the English title is - it's the video where it's olden day China and a warrior guy falls in love with a girl, but his jealous girlfriend poisons her. And they all meet again in future, but he still doesn't get with the girl he loves. Do you know the title of the song?

Have you seen The Secret? It's a lovely movie and his piano playing is AWESOME!

actually i havent seen it/ my sis saw it and said it was super creepy so i didnt.. (even though it isnt creepy) haha but i saw the piano part~! its sooooooooooooooooooooooo uber pro. *_*
the ending is sorta weird when he like gets crushed by rocks
well i download all of his songs for free on [link]
its like a search engine. then you click the tab thing ontop of the search box that says mp3 then you type in 周杰伦 and boom. all his songs come out. then you can listen by clicking the button that looks like headphones or download by the button next to the headphones. then a box pops up with two buttons and click the bottom one. then you can save it!

Thanks for that! I got up to the download part and trying to save the file (it's not showing up on my downloads but I'll figure it out!)

I didn't think the Secret movie was creepy. You should watch it if you get the chance :) It doesn't end with rocks falling on him - there's more afterwards and it's a nice ending :) I wish I could play the piano! Can you play?

i started when i was four then quit when i was eight. now i've been playing flute ever since.
almost all of the people in my school play piano. there are some that are REALLY good, playing 10+ years.
well it doesnt work for some people sadly... i dont really know it usually works for me tho. XD
oh really? more than the rocks? i didnt watch it yet D;
but today i watched harry potter 6
